Chairman of the Advisory Board
Klaus is Cand Merc. Jur. and HD from CBS in 1990. Claus started his shipping career in AP Møller-Maersk in 1990 and is today Chairman of the shipping company Norden, Chairman of United Shipping & Trading A/S, Member of the Board of Directors of DFDS A/S and others.
Senior Project Manager,
Thyge holds a MA in Political Science and has thirty years of experience in international development from Sub-Saharan Africa including Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia. He has worked for UN, the World Bank, Danida and COWI. Thyge has in particular managed projects within public sector planning and service delivery in different sectors including environment, renewable energy and inclusive economic growth.
Richard has over 16 years industry experience, most of which has been spent developing, financing and operating renewables energy projects across the world. Richard currently works within the investment management team at SSE renewables in the UK and has previously worked for a number of developers and investors in Africa, including Joule Africa, Berkeley Energy and Meridiam with a focus on geothermal, hydro, solar and wind. Richard has extensive experience in Africa having lived in Kenya, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Ethiopia.
Torben is M Sc Economics from CBS and AMP from Insead and has worked for 18 years with Danish Shipowner Torm where he finished as Senior VP, Treasury. Later Torben worked almost 8 years as CFO for the Danish Shipping company Hafnia Management being one of the founding partners. During his 26 years in shipping Torben has been involved on all levels in project- and acquisition financing. In 2018 Torben joined HafniaWind.
